If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is what I have been looking for in a long time, a REAL corset. I use to buy those flimsy 'fashion' corsets for years and have been thoroughly irritated and disappointed in them. This corset is as real as you can get other than a training corset (which pulls you into the sharp V shaped hourglass figure). This one does pull you in substantially into the hourglass figure and I can imagine more comfortably than the training corset. I contacted the seller of this product so that I could make the best informed decision on which corset length and size to purchase. I am 5'2' (36c/32/38) with a short torso and chubby in my stomach. I was concerned about the length of these. All the fashion corsets I have purchased at the chain lingerie stores for the same price or more than this one have always been too long, uncomfortable, and not flattering. The fashion ones bulged at my stomach because I'm basically a box shape and the plastic boning is just not sturdy enough.The fabric is soft but sturdy like canvas thickness, good for holding you in. The steel boning keeps the shape of corset in place and doesn't fold, bend, or warp like plastic boning. Tying is simple after a few practices. At first it is difficult and takes a bit of time. It is meant to be tightened from the middle. You pull the top section down first then the bottom section up. Go back and forth between the top and bottom sections until you get to the desired tightness. Then I tie the top and bottom laces together in a long bow and tuck all the loose laces under the bottom laced section, tucking the remainder under the bottom of the corset. YouTube has some videos on this. I wear mine at the most comfortable tightness but compared to a fashion corset there isn't much breathing room. Most true (real) corsets are not meant to stretch for breathing. If you're using it to waist train it will not be comfortable until your body gets use to it. It is not flexible where as fashion corsets are because the boning is plastic.Long story short, BEST PURCHASE I have ever made. It gives the figure I have always wanted in a corset and I feel great in it too. I plan on purchasing more corsets from this seller in the future. If you have never tried a steel boned corset you should. I am spoiled now and will never buy the corsets from Victoria Secrets, Fredrick's, or Shirley's again.

I got this corset in the mail and instantly realized all the other corsets I had purchased from other companies were garbage. The quality is incredible. You can see and feel it in every stitch. I am a size 12 with natural 34 e breasts. I have never ordered an overbust corset that held and flattered them... until this one. The laces are perfect. Long and great quality. Threaded so they won't fall through the eyelets even when fully opened.The fit is perfect too. I measured myself and then remeasured. I followed their guide and got the perfect hourglass silhouette I had been looking for. And it's the most comfortable corsette I have ever worn! The quality honing and thick material mean it's not pinching or pulling anywhere. No more being stabbed by poorly covered boning.I can't say enough good things about True corsets! As someone who loves to regularly wear corsets this is life changing! I will never go back! I'm a True Corsets believer!
