Gingham & Satin Underbust Corset

This georgous Trixi waist cincher has a gingham print contrasted with black satin, to give a new spin to the classic gingham underbust. Try pairing it with one of our skirts.

There are a total of 12 steel bones in this corset, all positioned to in such a way as to flatter the silhouette of the wearer. The bones are designed and positioned in the garment to help the wearer achieve the much sought after hour glass figure, if so desired, by cinching the waist which helps accentuate the breasts and hips. The front of the corset has a steel front closure, popularly referred to as a busk. This works with the steel bones.

The back of this corset is lace up. If so desired this can be used to reduce the waist of the wearer by up to 4 inches.

The steel bones and steel busk have been used as opposed to plastic to ensure longevity of the corset. Plastic bones tend to either warp or snap after a short period of time and then become uncomfortable for the wearer. Nor do they have the ability to flatter a silhouette the way a steel bone corset does, even if the plastic bones are used with a steel busk.

This corset is sized according to both waist and dress size. It is advisable that you buy according to your waist size, not dress size. Corsets should be ordered 2-4 inches (5-10cm) smaller than the natural waist size. e.g. a 26" waist should order a 24" corset or for the more experienced corset wearer 22”.

The No Nonsense Return Policy

We offer a no nonsense refund or exchange policy for all of our goods returned in a as new perfect condition within 21 days of reciept . If you are unhappy with your order in any way please let us know, we may be able to help. Please see below for full return criteria and procedures.

No items should be returned before contacting us.

We do not refund postage or carriage.

Returns Criteria

Corsets should be tried on over a t-shirt and not laced tight when trying for size as corsets quickly form the shape of your body when tightlaced. We will exchange corsets for an alternative size, but only when the corset is in a unworn brand new condition in original packaging with all the original labels intact, a corset that has been tight laced rather than gently tried for size will not be exchanged.

You have a 'duty of care' over the garments until they are returned to us, you will also have to pay the costs of returning the goods to us and to take reasonable care to see they are received by us without delay.

Where the item is returned to us in a used condition we will not issue a refund. Any items that have been worn, washed, marked, affected by odours including cigarette smoke, had any tags removed or are not in the original packaging are non-returnable.

Please note: If you are unsure of sizing please contact us by email before placing your order or come and see us (if appropriate). Please make your choice carefully as online card processing is expensive

Time Limitations

Goods can be returned within 21 days of receipt, for an exchange or refund.

The date of receipt is defined as the date the item arrived at your requested delivery address. To clarify, if you are unavailable to take delivery of the item and the parcel is taken to your local sorting office for collection, the 21 day period commences from the original day delivery was attempted.

Without exception, returns will not be accepted after the 21 day period.

In order to return an item you are required to obtain an RMA number.

In order to obtain an RMA number you are required to send us an email to sales@truecorset.com, with subject “RMA Request” and including the following information:

* Order Number
* Reference Number(s) of the Item(s) you require to return

Your RMA will be accepted and a RMA number issued. Once the RMA number has been issued the return address will be supplied via email.

Please remember to write the RMA Number on the package. If there is no Returns Merchandise Authorisation number ("RMA") on the outside of the package then there is a good chance that this will lead to delays of upto 30 days in processing your return. To avoid this delay, we recommend that if you wish to return goods you first obtain a RMA number.

As soon as we receive your returned goods we will process your request. Replacement goods held in stock will be dispatched within seven working days. If your chosen substitute is not in stock we will contact you to offer an alternative.

All customers should also ensure that their return parcel is clearly marked RETURN as otherwise Customs duty and local tax becomes payable. If this occurs we reserve the right to refuse item or charge the Customs and Tax bill to you.

Please note shipping and postage costs are non refundable.
